My name is Sarah Mekonnen and I am a visual storyteller and a connector of many sorts. I am the owner of sweetmvmnt photography and the co-founder of Distant Connections.

I love collaborating with creative people but I believe my true gift is enabling businesses to understand their customer needs and design experiences to ensure their needs are met through intentional design and photography.

I believe my background as a Eritrean-Italian Immigrant based in the U.S gives me a different perspective than most. As I see duality as part of my identity. I can see the pain and the beauty and make something extraordinary out of any story at hand.
